Electronic Stability Programme (EX Auto and Sport)
Rated by the NHTSA as what could be the greatest safety innovation since the safety belt, ESP compares the movement of your car with steering-wheel inputs. If there is any tendency to slide or skid, the system is designed to brake one or more of the wheels and, if necessary, reduce the engine power. The NHTSA has reported that passenger vehicles have a 30% reduction in fatal single vehicle crashes when equipped with ESP.
4 Airbags (dual front and side)
Kia fits airbags on all it's passenger vehicle range. A necessary aid in an accident, these create an instant pillow to cushion the driver in serious impacts. When fitted side and curtain airbags further protect the driver in Rollover and side impact situations.
